Overstamping - a favorite technique

This is a technique that I keep coming back too. Step one. Stamp your image in a light color ink. I used Crystal Blue on a light weight bond paper.

Color the image as desired. In this case I used a Crystal Blue Marker . Then I used a blending pen with ink from a sweet leaf ink pad to add accent colors.

Finally, I "over-stamped" the butterfly image in black. I love how it "pops".
